Handled For You
Setting up a new practice is one of the most demanding stretches in a physician's career — and most of it has nothing to do with medicine. HS Med Solutions works alongside you from your very first decision to opening day, so nothing slips through the cracks. Here's everything we handle.
What's included
Everything it takes to open your doors
From paperwork to furniture, one team coordinates all of it — so nothing falls between departments.
Legal & Regulatory
NPI registration, state licensing, CLIA certification, and staff background checks — the paperwork that has to be right before you see your first patient.
Location & Office Setup
Location assistance, office design, medical and office supplies, and phone systems — so your space is ready to open, not half-furnished.
Staffing & HR
Staffing support, human resources guidance, and a complete policies-and-procedures manual — so your team knows how the practice runs from day one.
Billing & Revenue
Billing setup, credentialing with payers, and transparent fee structuring — so revenue starts flowing as soon as you open your doors.

New practice setup, answered
The questions we hear most from physicians about to open their own practice.
How long does it take to set up a new medical practice?
Most practices open within 8 to 12 weeks of starting the process, depending on how quickly state licensing and payer credentialing move — both of which we manage on your behalf.
Do you help with credentialing during setup?
Yes. Payer credentialing is one of the slowest parts of opening a practice, so we start it in parallel with licensing and office setup instead of waiting until the end.
What if I already have a location?
That's fine — we start at whichever stage you're at, whether that's office design and supplies, staffing, or just billing and credentialing.
Does support end once I open?
No. The same team and account manager who handle your setup continue supporting your billing and operations after you open — it's not a one-time handoff.
